The Group Study Room is available during normal library hours for groups of up to 4 people. You may reserve a time to use it in advance either in person at the Check Out Desk or by calling the Library (546-7060) and asking for the Check Out Desk. If the room is not booked, you may ask to use it; however, people who have booked the room in advance have priority for its use. If you sign up for use of the Group Study Room without advance booking, you may only sign up for one hour at a time; people may sign up for longer periods of time by booking the room in advance. An adult must accompany children under 9 years of age who are using the Group Study Room. A key for the room is available at the Check Out Desk. When the group gets the key, the names of all individuals in the group will be required.
As is true throughout the library, no eating, drinking, or smoking is allowed in the Group Study Room. Persons misusing the Group Study Room, disturbing others, being noisy, etc., will be asked to leave.
The Group Study Room is for people working on group projects. Persons wanting to work on individual projects while seated together should use the regular library tables or the Quiet Study Room. If you are looking for an area for tutoring purposes or various computer uses, please ask at the Check Out Desk.
